Brian Wilson was a friend and leader of the
Alliance for Community Media for many years. The Brian Wilson
Award is granted annually, in his memory, to recognize those
individuals at all levels of PEG Access who take the time
to provide mentorship and guidance to others.
Nominations are now being accepted for 2008 Brian Wilson
Awards, to be bestowed during the ACM West Regional Conference
October 24-25 in Denver, Colorado.

Ms. Anderson has been co-producer and director of the live
weekly program THIRD WORLD NEWS REVIEW for more than 12 years.
She trains new studio volunteers "entirely without ego."
She also is a board member for the Santa Barbara Channels
and has been involved as a leader in public access and respected
by all. Ms. Anderson was nominated by Hap Freund, Executive
Director, The Santa Barbara Channels.

Mr. Faulkner is a teacher and mentor of the video production
class at El Rancho Adult School in Pico Rivera, California.
In addition to teaching, he manages ECTV 98 Educational Community
TV with all student volunteers ages 17 to 72. He is appreciated
by all who work with him for what he offers as a teacher and
friend. Mr. Faulkner was nominated by Jacqueline Taylor.

Mr. Halfmoon is a government access facilitator for Santa
Cruz Community TV. He teaches the TV production classes and
a variety of ways until each person in the class "gets
it." His guidance and patience are only exceeded by his
skill as a director. Mr. Halfmoon was nominated by Ariana
